Community ideas help shape stronger, more welcoming parks and public spaces. This form is a starting point for residents, neighborhood groups, artists, organizations and community partners to propose projects, public art, creative placemaking ideas, programs or other improvements that may benefit the Fargo Parks system.

You do not need to be an expert in planning, design or budgeting to have an idea. Strong proposals simply identify a need or opportunity, suggest a solution or creative concept, and explain how the community would benefit.

All submissions are reviewed as part of the Fargo Park District’s broader planning process, including alignment with strategic priorities, community benefit, accessibility, feasibility, safety, funding, staffing, maintenance needs and compatibility with existing or future park plans. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee approval. Approved projects may be scheduled based on available resources, timing, department priorities and overall alignment with the Park District’s annual planning process.

Even if an idea cannot be implemented right away, it may help inform future decisions or inspire related improvements across the system. We appreciate you taking the time to make our parks better with your ideas and will follow up on your request as soon as possible.
